Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of the Planit app and website (the “Service”), operated by an individual based in the European Union (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. The Service
Planit helps you organise travel bookings, discover destinations, and keep a record of past trips. Planit does not make, change or cancel reservations, and is not affiliated with any airline, hotel or other travel provider.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Planit. Keep your login details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.
3. Imported bookings and accuracy
Booking details are extracted automatically from emails and may be incomplete or wrong. Check-in reminders and links are provided for convenience and may not match a provider’s actual check-in window or website. Always confirm times, dates, gates and requirements directly with your airline, hotel or provider. We are not responsible for missed flights, check-ins, reservations or other losses caused by inaccurate or missing information.
4. Gmail and email forwarding
Connecting Gmail is optional. If you connect it, you authorise Planit to read your messages as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time. Only forward emails you are entitled to share.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: for example, by trying to access other users’ data, interfering with or overloading the Service, sending us malicious content, or using it for anything unlawful.
6. Your content
You own the trips, notes and other content you add. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the Service to you. When you share a trip or your passport, you choose who receives it.
7. Third-party services
The Service links to and relies on third-party services (such as airline websites, Google and Apple). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
8. Availability and changes
Planit is in early development. Features may change, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Planit and ask us to delete your account at any time.
9. Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from reliance on imported booking information. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the EU member state where the operator is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring claims in your local courts.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Planit after that means you accept the new terms.
